Buying
stuff 1: Where do you (or your parents) buy
your food?
It's easiest to hop
in the car and do a big shop in a hypermarket. But
not everyone has a car. They depend on local
shops and those same shops make jobs for
local people - many more than the supermarkets
do. They bring money into your local area instead
of sucking it out. Local shops and markets may
also mean locally grown foods from nearby farms.
The more local any food is the better. Why?
